The UK’s largest contemporary print fair, Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair returns for its fifth edition, The Online Edition. Given the current national lockdown, this year’s edition of the Fair will be fully online and will run from 12 November – 13 December 2020 and will provide a safe, interactive and engaging opportunity to experience the largest fair dedicated to international contemporary print. They are committed to finding innovative and interactive ways of engaging with contemporary art and creating an accessible arena for aspiring and established collectors.
Boodle Hatfield Art Law Associate and member of the WCPF Advisory Board, Fred Clark will be participating in the events programme co-hosting a talk with Will Korner from the Art Loss Register at which they will be discussing the challenges facing a 21st Century Art Collector.
The Art Law & More team is delighted to have been advising and supporting Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair for a number of years. 2019 was a very special year for our work together as we launched the Boodle Hatfield Printmaking Prize! At the 2019 edition of the fair, members of our Art Law & More team selected seven artists' works which we were thrilled to display in our offices at our inaugural reception in February 2020 at which the prize winner, Sadie Tierney, was announced (winning print pictured). Sadie will have a dedicated booth at the 2020 edition of the fair for a solo exhibition of her work. The shortlisted works for this year's Boodle Hatfield Printmaking Prize have been selected and the prize giving evening will be hosted at our Bankside office at a later date in 2021 when we look forward to meeting the artists, hearing about their works and the prize winner will be announced!
Be sure to visit the Online Fair over the coming month to discover new artists, experience the magic of printmaking and find the art that perfectly fits your home.
