Track Record
Acting as the lead associate in the reported case of TI v LI [2024] EWFC 163 which was a complex piece of litigation relating to the validity and recognition of divorce proceedings purportedly brought in Pakistan. The judge determined the outcome in the client’s favour, resulting in the wife’s English divorce application being dismissed and the granting of the client’s application for recognition in this jurisdiction of the Pakistan divorce.
Acting for a client in relation to highly contentious financial remedy proceedings involving third parties and numerous associated applications including a freezing order, provision for legal services and a section 37 application
Acting for a client to oppose their partner’s urgent application to relocate their children away from the family home in London
Acting for a client in a successful application to terminate spousal periodical payments
Acting for a client negotiating the terms of divorce and financial settlement during their retirement. Terms were agreed at a remote private financial dispute resolution hearing to include a pension sharing order on the basis of a report of a Single Joint Expert
