Boodle Hatfield advises Puy du Fou on new £300m historical and cultural destination planned in Oxfordshire

Leading Real Estate law firm, Boodle Hatfield, has advised Puy du Fou, an 'immersive' destination on an option to acquire a site near, Bicester, Oxfordshire on its first UK site that is set to celebrate British history and culture.
Puy du Fou, which has run parks in Les Epesses in France since 1978 and in Toledo, Spain, since 2021, is a “world leader in creating spectacular historic shows and immersive experiences” having showcased historical events such as the Roman Empire, the Musqueteers and Joan of Arc.
Olivier Strebelle, Puy du Fou’s chief executive, details: “We are not an attraction like you have ever experienced before. We do not have any rides or rollercoasters; there are no neon flashing lights. Instead, we create an authentic, natural and historical environment set within beautiful gardens, which become the setting for world-class shows and immersive cultural and historical experiences for the whole family to enjoy.”
Boodle Hatfield are proud to have advised Puy du Fou on real estate matters in relation to their proposed destination near Bicester, and are now advising on pre-planning appointments.
