The Family Law Awards, launched in 2011, celebrate exceptional achievements, unwavering commitment to justice, and groundbreaking contributions within the field of family law. These awards are an acknowledgment of the important work undertaken by family lawyers and aim to highlight their many successes and outstanding achievements.
The ‘Family Law Associate Solicitor of the Year’ category recognises solicitors with over five years of post-qualification experience. Finalists in this category are selected based on their significant contributions to the field, their dedication to delivering outstanding client service, and their ability to demonstrate effective teamwork within their firms, as well as with external lawyers and other professionals. Katie’s nomination is a testament to her dedication, expertise, and passion for family law and affirms her reputation in the market as “a star of the future”. She has been noted by others in the market as having “one of best analytical minds’ going on to say that she is ‘an exceptional lawyer, at ease with complex issues, good at explaining the options and consequences, reasoned, and empathetic and protective of a client under her instruction”. This shortlist also follows Katie’s listing in the ePrivateClient Next Gen Leaders List 2023 and new position as an ‘Associate to Watch’ in the newly published Chambers and Partners HNW guide 2024.
