2022 marks Boodle Hatfield’s 300-year anniversary. To celebrate this significant milestone, the law firm will be rolling out an extensive programme of initiatives to build upon its remarkable heritage throughout the year and beyond.
The 300 year team are developing projects to extend and build on the work the firm already undertakes amongst its local communities as well as help dismantle barriers to entry into the legal profession. In addition, investment is being made into delivering fresh insights and content for the firm’s core sectors. Throughout the year leading teams will be delivering publicly accessible guidance and insight into pressing social and legal issues; from navigating the legal challenges of surrogacy to responsibly passing on wealth to the next generation.
Founded in 1722 by Robert Andrews, a 19-year-old legal clerk, Boodle Hatfield has established itself as a market leader in private wealth and real estate, now with 38 partners across three offices. In the course of its history, the firm has helped clients navigate the impact of revolutions – both industrial and political – market crashes, social upheaval and technological innovation, providing expert guidance for families, businesses, and communities.
