Office location and facilities
With offices in Bankside and Mayfair you will get to experience the best of London, from the heritage buildings and boutiques in the West End to the rapidly evolving Southwark skyline and riverside. You will have easy access to many fantastic restaurants and theatres as well as the opportunity to visit the hub of art galleries and exhibitions nearby. The Bankside Buzz card means you are eligible to participate in all sorts of events in the local areas as well as receive discounts in a number of participating shops, restaurants and bars.
We also have an office in Oxford that trainees are able to work from during their Private Client & Tax seat.
Social and Sporting
Our trainees are expected to work hard and produce high quality work but we also value the importance of a social life and will encourage you to get away in the evenings in time to enjoy yourselves.
Boodle Hatfield is a very friendly firm and even before you join as a trainee you will be invited to the annual Christmas and Summer parties so you can get to know your fellow trainees and other staff.
We also host end of month drinks in the office which everyone is encouraged to join.
We offer regular sporting activities including football and netball games as well as participating in annual cricket and softball matches with clients.
Everyone is encouraged to participate in social events organised either in-house or with clients and other firms. We are well aware of the valuable contribution that all staff can make to strengthening client contacts and loyalties. Recent social events with clients include the annual cricket matches against a large landed estate, football and softball matches, as well as aWorld Cup Table Football competition against clients.
The Social Committee organise activities for staff, events from the past include the ever popular quiz night to the “Boodle’s Got Talent” and Boodle Hatfield’s own take on the popular “Strictly Come Dancing” show in which every department fields at least one act to display their talents.
And, of course, people regularly meet for an informal drink after work either in the office or at one of the many local bars or restaurants.
In addition to this we have a wellbeing programme which includes monthly key speakers in topics of interest, monthly Time to Talk sessions and we have a wellbeing hub which hosts a range of resources on our website.
